This shit was beyond tedious. This whole experience felt unnecessary, do yourself a favor and only play the normal game. Don't buy the DLC.

Everyone has already played the normal game and the DLC. What didn't you like about it?

I liked them both. I will admit that EotE was weaker than the extremely cohesive main game, but I'm actually impressed that it fit in as well as it did. Base game is 10/10, dlc is 9/10.
It brought new mechanics, discoveries, and memorable moments. Well worth it.

I ultimately ended up liking the DLC but I had no patience for fumbling about in the dark (with a time limit, no less) and dealing with jump scares so I just ended up using a guide for the isekai parts

Tranny. Game.

I didn't care for the dlc I think I got confused when you go to the "dark world-esque" area

fucking filtered holy shit. The moment you set down the lantern or solve one of the locks, you should be able to figure out that the straightforward approach is wrong. Echoes of the Eye was a very different game, but it was also Ludo of the highest order.

What causes a fag like you to see a space "sumulation" game and immediately think of trannies?
>>

Your average /vpol/tard has 70% of his brainspace dedicated to trannies

Not op, but the whole dlc takes place on this space ship, and in a game about exploration the dlc feels like it for goes half of what make OuterWilds what it is by limiting itself to just this one area. Then there's the fact it all takes place in a non gravity controlled environment with no ship access. In the base game you were flying from one end of a planet to another to solve a puzzle, here, you have to park your ship in a hanger and ride boats across the whole ship, and it just becomes so tedious trying to puzzle solve when it takes so long to get from one place to another just to try and experiment with something that could possibly be a solution.

I beat the base game with no guides (except for the hourglass twins, I knew what to do, but I just didn't stay under the teleporter long enough) but the dlc I dropped after 3 hours or so, i wasn't having any fun with it. Also, the worst thing about it is the story, unlike the rest of the game you can't use the translator on any of the text, and while there is a lore reason why you can't, it leaves you with a story told through slide shows you have to interpret yourself that I found boring and pretty given the themes of the base game, mostly predictable as to how it all would turn out.

My exact feelings also, well said anon.

That's fair. It was much more of an ordeal to get to the music lodge in the Shrouded Woodlands than say, to any point on Brittle Hollow.
