>>727757656The West has always made better RPGs (The best RPGs are all Western) and Shooters (we invented the FPS), but the East has always made superior action games, platformers, and fighting games. The West is way, way better at maintaining online games and providing updates but now they're all live service, while the East has online games worth playing but with terrible netcode and updates once a year.
