Kinda got spoiled a little bit on the ending but not the entire thing so it gave me a punch to the gut towards the final parts. I'll probably go for the other ending later but just wanted to make a thread just for the hell of it. Also I played with the restored OST and SFX mod for 90% of my playthrough as I installed it while I was going through Zone 1.

What did you think of it?

I thought it was a pretty fun experience for the most part. Some of the puzzles made me look up the solutions cause I'm dumb as hell but the area 1 and 2 bosses put me on edge with using items to restore my competence points and do poison and lethargic. Honestly wasn't expecting the ending area to go the way it did especially with the Queen. I want to also try LISA but it's a pretty hard game from what I've heard.

You've somewhat spoiled the experience for yourself. OFF is the only game where I was inclined to keep a pen and paper by my desk to keep notes on the puzzles. Gameplay-wise, there isn't much to OFF outside of its puzzles. Slowly figuring them out was more fun than engaging with the bare-bones turn-based combat. The only fun and challenging boss I faced was Sucre, and that's only because I fought her earlier than the game expected me to.

The save slot fuckery was impressive. I love when games do shit like that. Being able to return to purified zones to find them left barren in the aftermath of The Batter's actions is really cool too, and I'm hoping you did that in your playthrough. Out of curiosity, which ending did you choose?

I went with siding with The Judge, it felt like the right thing to do. It threw me for a loop though when The Batter wasn't getting hit with statuses from Judge's attacks until I realize the equipment I had on him before that fight.

I did go back to zone 1 but didn't explore far as I assumed there was no point in doing so besides the secretary enemies that were there.
