I mostly play PS1/N64, which are infamous for FPS drops into the teens. If I buy a high refresh rate monitor and do all my daily computing at a high framerate, is that gonna retrain my eyes and make PS1/N64 unplayable to me?
>>727767415I don't care bro, just do whatever you want.
>>727767415For pretentious elitism and delusions.PS. You can't see more than 60 fps
>>727767415you dont see it in your eyes, you feel it in your hands
>>727767505What a stupid cunt who didn't even read the OP.
Do you notice when a youtube video is 30fps instead of 60fps?there's your answer.
>>727768485I do, is that good or bad?
>>727767415> is that gonna retrain my eyes and make PS1/N64 unplayableNo
>>727767415If the game still runs at unstable 30fps then the difference is not really big since the monitor response time will not change too much. You can use something like lossless scaling to dynamically add fake frames to reach a target fps. If you have stable framerate then you could try GlassShader crt shader instead. > is that gonna retrain my eyesProbably not but you will see much smoother mouse movements at least and might find it hard to go back to something like 60Hz.
>>727769320I'm not really thinking about the input lag but the perception of motion
>I only do one highly specific thing ever, do I have a use case for this other thing? How do retards like you exist? Seriously, what the fuck?Just ask chatgpt you're about in the same league as cattle as far as original thought
>>727771847Hey fuckhead, maybe 144Hz looks nice in desktop usage? I'm asking if that will molest my experience with PS1 games.
>>727767415you have some deranged schizophrenic perception of the worldthe only person whos going to know the answer to some bullshit like this is you after trial and error
