36 here.
>What do you play?
I am re-reading FSN but before that I was playing SW Fallen Order.
>do you still have time for games?
Yeah, I am single, I live alone. I have the time.
>What part of your body hurts?
I just can't go on without sleep as longer as I did back in my 20s. Other than that no parts are hurting or there is anything wrong with me.
>>
>>727772921
It's a bit difficult to find the energy.
I eat healthy and walk outside every day.
Is there any way to gain energy that I don't know about?
>>
>What do you play?
FFXI
>do you still have time for games?
Yes
>What part of your body hurts?
None, because I'm not obese/still exercise.
>>
>>727773465
>Is there any way to gain energy that I don't know about?

Sports, hit the gym. Reduce work hours.
>>
I got 30 a few weeks ago.
>What do you play? do you still have time for games?
I mean work is the same as it was 10yrs ago. And OW2, NFSCarbon, Blood and sometimes Muse Dash.
>>
30
>do you still have time for games?
Yes but I don't. I got traped into gamedev and I don't have the will to boot any vidya that's not mine. Hell I bought a Switch 2 because I didn't buy a console since the PS triple, but that shit is collecting dust even though I got billions Nintendo games to discover
>What part of your body hurts?
none, I exercise regularly (my upper body only, I should consider adding squats to my routine)

playing kcd2 right now, it's not really my sort of thing, i like elves and magic and shit in my RPG, but the quality and immersion is obviously exceptional so im enjoying it.
i have a herman miller so my back is fine, but my bed is poverty tier so my neck/shoulders usually hurt in the morning.

Batman Returns on SNES, and yes.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Voices of the Void, nearly done with the former. Good time management and boundaries are important part of being a working parent, so I get my gamer time in there though obviously not like 6+ years ago (age of son). It's always my fuckin neck and shoulders cuz I'm a tall guy with a desk job (35)

You're old too now
>>
>>727774842
Every recent generation sucks. Boomers got spoon fed the easiest life in the history of the world. Gen X thinks wearing a tie is oppression and didn't parent their children (you). Millennials pushed for the worst social justice reforms. Gen Z is socially retarded and 80% of the boys have never had a girlfriend. The alpha has no attention span.

Hades2, Ill check out stalker gamma after that
do you still have time for games?
Single, so yes, plenty of time

I turned 30 this year. I'm enjoying my thirties more than my twenties so far.
>What do you play?
I mostly play arcade games and multiplayer FPS.
I played some TF2 this weekend and am probably about to play a bit more.
>do you still have time for games?
I do, but I don't spend most of my free time on them anymore.
I've consciously tried to spend more time reading, writing and watching movies and TV whenever I'm in the mood to be a couch potato.
I want to do some traveling soon. I can finally afford to move away from my hometown, and I coincidentally started an LDR recently as well.
>What part of your body hurts?
Nothing today. My lower back hurts when I don't get enough sleep, but I rarely do that anymore.
>>
>>727773465
If you sleep 7h, try 8h. Keep the bedroom dark and a bit cool
Try jogging/strenght training and a shower afterwards
Stretching is underrated af, try some basic stretches, especially for the back
Get vitamin D (and magnesium) on a regular basis
Avoid too much sugar

Yeah thats mostly it
>>

Autocorrect and now ChatGPT are going to forge an entire generation of retards. Apparently you can fool university AI detection by having ChatGPT write it and using another AI like Claude to proofread what ChatGPT wrote. Delete the em-dashes and add a few conjunctive adverbs and Bob's your uncle (apparently AI doesn't into conjunctive adverbs)
>We are fucked; however, the next generation will be extra fucked.

>>
>>727772921
>What do you play?
I've been playing Helldivers, PoE2 and last Epoch.

>Do you still have time for games?
Of course. I don't have a family or GF so it's just me and always will be.

>What part of your body hurts?
My ankle, I picked up running and irritated some tendon so now I have to take a few days off.
>>
>>727772921
>What do you play?
video games. Replay of the PvZ, original, is the latest one.
>do you still have time for games?
Of course. I'm a true gamer tm, not your retarded poser troonster nigger gayyyyyymer imbecile, which means, that video games are my passion and top priority. I could lose my job, but I won't care, because I want to play video games all day anyway.
>What part of your body hurts?
something different every time, it depends.
>>
>>727773429
>no parts are hurting
Lucky you. I'm 25 and started getting forearm pain earlier this summer. Still hasn't fully healed, think it might be permanent at this point.
>>
>>727783449
Do you play Helldivers alone? I had a couple friends to play it with when it launched and they immediately dropped it, haven't picked it up since then. Can't tell if it's worth playing solo or with randoms.
>>
>>727772921
>What part of your body hurts?
Most of your 30s are really too early to be having significant body aches; barring preexisting conditions or poor diet/exercise.
>>
>>727773465
Drink heavily.

>>
>>727783816
I play it solo with voice chat disabled. I've never liked co-op games but I took a risk on HD since everyone said it was fun and it actually is. You can either do missions completely solo or just do quick play which drops you in with randoms but you can communicate with in game emotes or not at all. Most of the time I pretend the other people aren't even there. I haven't played on anything higher than challenging so it may change for the highest difficulties but you should be fine playing by yourself.

Just finished DS3 for the first time, was pretty good.

31 here.
>What do you play?
I mostly play Crusader Kings 3 when I have free time and feel like a videogame. I fucking hate CK3, I have no idea why I do this to myself. Sometimes I also play friendslop with my fellow olds. Occasionally I'll also load up some DOS and old windows games.
>do you still have time for games?
Yes, but I find myself enjoying watching movies and reading books more these days.
>What part of your body hurts?
My fucking back. Doesn't always hurt, but holy fuck does it cripple me when it decides to act up.
>>
Got OpenRA to play CnC and RA.
Found out the campaigns are incomplete.
Lost the will to play.

Recently finished Hitman Blood Money. Remembered most of my old routes, but holy shit, steamer and White House are two proper piece of shit missions.

And yeah, I still have time for games, but over the past weeks I have kind of lost the drive to game, but that's ok, my hobbies are always periodic.

Been dealing with a plantar fasciitis since summer. No idea how I caught that, I'm an avid runner.

Mostly Helldivers 2, and waiting for the new PC components to arrive (mostly GPU, I play on a laptop) so I can play all the games that requires more than 4gb of VRAM.
>do you still have time for games?
Sometimes, its either work, household chores, or having fun outside. I'm no longer the gamer addict I used to be in my youth.
>What part of your body hurts?
nothing, but what I notice is that I no longer have as much stamina as before. It's not a drastic difference, but its noticeable for me. I can't run or swim for a while without my legs feeling heavy after a bit.

I'm planning on starting E33 any day now, I was paying for Hades 2 and it's fun but I think I wanna play a good jrpg now.
I'm also hopelessly addicted to Fire Emblem romhacks and I have one that I'm playing slowly.
Honestly the hardest part is to just sit down and play. Watching youtube videos and generating AIslop porn is way too addicting and easy to spend hours doing.

E33 is not a JRPG, its more of a "Dark Souls meets Super Mario RPG" thing. The Dragon Quest games are the quintessential JRPG games, but they are really basic, is like other anons said before: DQ is a litmus test to see if you actually enjoy JRPGs at its core, or if you like casual games that happens to share JRPG elements like the Persona games.

Been playing Kirby games by release date. Just beat Kirby's Dream Land 3. Kirby's Adventure is so fucking good.
Also playing Minish Cap. Never beat it over the years despite restarting it like 10 times since it came out. Decided to finally focus on it, about 75% through it. Art is amazing.
Also just playing a lot of Deadlock. Love Doorman, simple as.

It is pretty funny that whenever FF gets criticized you people immediately start accusing people of liking E33 though.

>What do you play?
I finished DMCV this week and I'll start Black Mesa now. I bought Pikmin 4 this Friday because I found it at a decent price and yesterday I bought Metroid Dread on a whim because I saw it on sale in a store, so I once again have a healthy backlog of games. Steam Winter Sale is also coming soon, so there will be comfy times ahead.
>do you still have time for games?
I work from home, I'm single and I live with my mom and my sister. It's a peaceful life.
>What part of your body hurts?
I'd like to say that nothing because I'm not unhealthy, but truth to be told, my left elbow has been stinging a bit here and there, I believe it might be a nerve. It hasn't hurt in a while now that I think about it, so hopefully it was temporary.

If you're a fat alcoholic, it's pretty easy to get gout.
Fat people used to get it all the time before all the processed shit food of today.
My doc told me to eat less of certain foods back in my 20's.
Stuff like meat and cheese.
Anyone who tells you to eat as much meat as you please because 'muh protein' is a certified idiot. Humans were not eating meat every day for thousands of years.
I'm not even fat.
You should probably get a blood test.
If you're skinny and don't drink, then you just aren't very educated, because gout is common.
As well as diabetes and cirrhosis because tons of people are alcoholics.
Humans are always addicted to something. Most people it's just food, so they can't moderate what they eat. There is objectively no reason to ever eat at McDonald's, but people do it anyway.

45. I mostly play standard def games (NES to PS2) on a CRT, emulated, at 240p/480i.

However once a year i'll spend a couple of months playing new stuff to see what's happening in the industry, but rarely does any of it impress me in the slightest, most of it is just shit that's been done 1000 times already.
>What part of your body hurts?
Nothing really. I had scapular dyskinesia recently (aka fucked shoulder) but i went to a physiotherapist and did the exercises they recommended and fixed it up and it's good now.
I lift weights so my body is in ok condition for my age. Start deadlifting once a week, boys. Your back will be strong as fuck in no time.

Not really. Regular quality sleep, good food, cardio exercise (just walking isn't going to cut it unless it's like 90 mins a day) can help, but as you get older you will just be tired all the time, especially if you're male.

I'll play it for shapeshifting and for plant-watering meme builds but I'm personally not too excited to go back this time since they didn't come through with the supposed planned endgame rework.
I don't have an issue with the campaign by itself, but with character progression on a fresh start. Poe2 is way too reliant on you dropping or vendoring good gear in the first few acts if you don't want your run to feel like a slog vs. Poe1 where the right tree nodes can make the experience a lot smoother. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised next week though.

I’ve kinda accepted that 0.4 is gonna be more of the same with minor QoLs and a few gimmicks slapped on top to bait veterans back in. The campaign length wouldn’t be so bad if progression didn’t feel like cement drying-half the builds don’t even come online until Act 3-4, and by then I’ve already hit burnout. I’ll probably still roll one character out of habit, curse the movement speed, and ghost the league in a week unless they miraculously overhauled crafting or dropped some spicy uniques. Not holding my breath.
