I just wish that there were more RPGs out there where you can build your own battle harem of girls of different species without it being some early access thing that'll never finish or a gacha, which often have shallow combat even if the designs are acceptable. Girls might have different dialogue depending on their relationship with the player or with story progression. I enjoyed Criminal Girls because they all pretty much hate you at first and/or barely tolerate your presence, and then by the end of the game they all become flirtatious and eager. robots, beasts, monsters, and classic fantasy races are all welcome. i can't stand most furry characters because they are often boring designs only meant as sex appeal to furries. even animal ears are a usually a big turn off for me (both sexually and aesthetically). good designs would make me open to it but there are just so many bad ones (i didn't mind Nia from XC2 for some reason). i probably wouldn't have minded in the past, but it feels like there has been a huge influx in recent years of furry characters, which has made my initial distaste turn into annoyance and sometimes outright hate. jap designs tend to be more boring but with animal ears and western designs are often designed by furries for furries. i don't even hate furries themselves (usually), but it's like if the male characters in a game were obnoxiously designed as sex appeal for gay men and women, i wouldn't want them in my party.
