Just finished my third playthrough of this game and it's mid, why do hardcore fans of the series say it's the best one?

You don't need it talked about much these days because DMC5 brought on an insane amount of secondaries to the franchise and basically muffled out comboautists, plus 5 killed off a few things that fans of 4 liked about combos but since DMC5 can't be critiqued on this board without getting called barry or ACfag or that spic NG fanboy or some other bogeyman the 4fans shut up real quick.
DMC5 mogs it in basically every single way but autists will argue 4 is better because the physics are slightly better

>>727791645Dmc5 fag here. The game isn't that good and needs SSSaiyans mods to fix alot of the combat and moveset issues. I dont think 4 is that good but the sound design, hitstop and attack animations make the combos much more satisfying to pull off; something 5 needs mods to attempt to replicate.

Then I played it and my brain couldn't really understand not loving it, so I told myself I did but in reality I didn't, played it once and then just moved on
