Everyone who bought the 9070 or 9060 got lucky, not only are they ready for the Linux transition, GPUs with that much memory will cost a lot more from now on. They should also be good enough for 1080p for close to 10 years if you don't mind dropping settings in the last few years
PC is about $200/year. It's the absolute cheapest hobby there is. People used to socialize and go out drinking before extreme poverty became the norm. $200 would have been weekly expenses.
