The problem with this game was that it wasn't your story, it was Keanu's story with you going along for the ride, so I expect so, yes.I wish we had been given a real RPG in the setting.
Still haven't seen any solid proof of this. I could believe them coming up with extra scenes to give Keanu more lines, but completely re-writing the story around him? I'd need a non meme surce to believe that.

>>727792528Yes and no. Originally the relic would have a different engram on it depending on a specific character creation option where you would pick your "hero". You can see this in the original 2018 demo. So if you picked Johnny that would be the person on the engram. If you picked Saburo it would be him etc.Obviously with development being exceptionally rushed and real development not even starting until 2017 there was no time to implement all of these options.MaximumMike also was adamant he did not want Morgan Blackhand involved in 2077 at all which might be another reason the system was scrapped.Eventually they decided to go with one person on the chip and focus heavily on him. Not because it was Keanu but because there simply wasn't enough time to implement what they had originally planned.
>>727792894From what I remember, a lot of Johnny’s lines and quips that happen in the little side jobs were written after Keanu started doing voice work, but that was because he was having such a good time playing Johnny that the asked him if he wanted more lines and he said “oh god yes.” Anything related to the main quest/major side quests (like whole Chippin’ In line) was already done.
