Invisible War is unironically a good game.
RE6 mercenaries mode is insanely fun too. As far as campaigns go it's an ok action game with setpiece after another, the Leon one is probably the best out of the four.
Hitman Absolution is something I also had fun with. Didn't mind them going for more shooter elements while toning stealth down a notch. Different feel from the previous games but it's still decent.
I don't think these three should be controversial at all.

One game people always try to kill me for praising, is picrel.
Honestly a fantastic girlfriend simulator and also a relaxing experience just going around collecting orbs, getting in the flow with smooth parkour moves to some beautiful music.
I legit feel sorry for people hating on pop2k8, it's an awesome game right next to things like Ico or Journey.

the only one of the list I have issues is dmc2 since the sword gameplay is not as satisfying, otherwise yeah, they are all dumb but they are fun to play
