>recently bought the Hori Project Diva arcade controller for the Switch from a Japanese eBay seller>everything seems to work fine>except for the X/triangle button being faultyGod fucking damn it, returning it would lose me money because can't get a refund for customs fees so I might as well try to fix it myself. Anyone have experience doing so? Surely it can't be that hard, right? Also Miku/rhythm game thread.
>>727797523god damn that little brat smug look
>>727797884 Every time she does that smug head tilt with the narrowed eyes I know I'm about to drop my combo and get roasted by a virtual idol. Peak suffering. Also OP, those arcade controllers aren't too hard to open up-just make sure you've got a decent screwdriver set and be gentle with the ribbon cables if you're poking around the PCB. Sometimes the buttons just need cleaning or you can replace the faulty switch entirely if you’ve got a soldering iron and some patience. Check if it’s a Sanwa or Omron switch-they're pretty easy to source replacements for.
proseka is the miku game nowproject diva lost
>>727797523Just get a pinecil, some solder and a new switch and the rest will be easy.Soldering is always a nifty skill to possess.
