>come back for a replay after playing at release>it's just as bad as beforeWhat a disappointment
>>727797534Mods help a lot, but they still don't really fix the gameAlso, inb4 resident fallout schizo shits up the thread
>>727797850Any recommended QoL?
Fallout 4 is a good game for mindless dungeon slogs and autist simulator settlements but I still never out more than 30 hrs in it
>>727797534
>>727797923Look up a guide called The Midnight Ride/ or midnight rose. I forget what its called but it has a guide on which crucial tools and mods to install to make the game buttery smooth and reduce as many stutters and freezes as possible
>>727797534i would just play fallout 76 at this point. it is ironically better than 4 despite the bad start it had.
>>727797534play on Survival, it's 20x better
>>727797534Yah this. >>727797850I replayed Skyrim and was surprised at how much mods unironically fixed the game. So I tried Fallout 4 modlists and it wasn't the same that seemed to fix as much as I cared about but it wasn't really the same. Where as Skyrim always had good World design and just needed better RPG elements, Fallout 4's World design is god awful even with better RPG elements. And no mods really bring back the feeling of New Vegas factions which is part world design part RPG elements.
>>727799041*die to a bug*nice game
>>727799041Playing on Survivall adds better dialogue, RPG mechanics, better story, better characters, better gameplay ect?
>>727799517Better gameplay is subjectiveIt can improve your game dramatically if you've modded it extensively to play like a hardcore survival game built around solid gunplay blah blah blah. But imo it doesn't really improve the vanilla experience
>>727799706>It can improve your game dramatically if you've modded it extensively to play like a hardcore survival game built around solid gunplay blah blah blah.So it doesnt do anything.
>muh roleplayI've been hearing this for years yet I never see people talking about the magnificent role playing that they are allegedly having in their Fallout 1, 2, and NV playthroughs.
>>727799895All it does is add hunger/thirst and sleep requirements, increases the lethality of all weapons for both player and enemy, makes saving the game more restrictiveIt probably has more going for it than what I listed but I've forgotten if there is
