as long as you're transparent about it, I see no issue
>>
>>727800330
as long as you don't advertise it as a finished product and have a reasonable price, there's no problem
>>
Just put it up on early access

chuds and nazis ruined gaming in general, so, they have to be careful to not be bomb reviewed by them. this is all your fault.
>>
>>727800330
As long as the first 2 hours and 1 minute of the gameis stable and looks solid you're good to ship and can finish the rest in subsequent updates.
>>
>>727800330
why do I only see woeing from the dev? just keep working and stfu.
>>
>>727800330
yeah, it's called early access

>anon discovers professional reviewers are shills for almost every game
>>
>>727800679
pretty funny how we're basically controlling an entire industry by whining
>>
>>727800964
at least "professional" reviewers get paid to actually play the game. user scores dont even touch the game.

Yes, CP2077 proved that people dont give a fuck, just make open world slop and people will forgive you literally anything.

It'll work out I'm sure.

These are the same faggots endlessly whining about KSA not being on Steam when there's very clear reasoning as to why that's the case. Dean and Simon are based for saying no to Steam. Fuck Steamies, fucking crying little autistic good goys who don't know how to click an executable. I would holocaust you all if I could.

99% of games run into problems due to bad code

writing bad code incurs a tax later on
you wouldn't be in this mess if you were watching based Coding Jesus
>>
>>727802113
What the fuck is KSA? In this case it makes sense because Steam is not a good launcher for modding
>>
>>727800330
Thats what the early access tag is for! Normalfags ate that lie up
>>
>>727800679
a similar situation is Darktide. the game has been getting updates for a while now, but /v/ refuses to give it another chance and keeps calling it the worst piece of shit ever, even though it's one of the best PvE games we've had in a while now a days. the dev did good by not releasing on steam.
>>
Early access isn't even worth it for devs anymore.

I mean this idiot wasted 50 million on a project that will likely fail so he has a right to complain i guess
>>
>>727804281
From what I read from this guy, it's more of a passion project right now than a product that supposed to bring millions. The game will probably be a cyberpunk level disaster though
