What aspects of different Extraction Shooter games would you combine to make the ultimate game? How big would the map be? How big is too big? How many players would it be?
>>727803982If somebody made Tarkov, but like 50% less autistic, it would print money.
>>727804161What does 50% less autistic look like? Less gun customization?
Ground Zero Warfare does the extraction type of shooter perfectly, huge open map with helicopter fast travel and no raid timers, just pop back into base every now and again whenever you need to or feel like it.I haven't been able to touch any other extraction shooter after playing it, but then again I'm not sure if it's fair to even actually call it an extraction shooter when it's not raid based.Shame the update rate is abysmally slow.
>>727804369Fuck, meant to say Gray Zone Warfare, there is this huge area called ground zero in the middle of the map which is why I keep calling the game that, lmao.
>>727803982>extraction shooterYou've removed the possibility of the "ultimate game".
>>727804524>>fighting game>You've removed the possibility of the "ultimate game".>>platformer game>You've removed the possibility of the "ultimate game".>>role playing>You've removed the possibility of the "ultimate game".Small brain
>>727804350No that’s one of the cooler things about Tarkov.I’m talking about bringing that learning curve way the fuck down, and make it accessible to employed people.Arc raiders is fun, but even the most intense games don’t get the heart pumping like Tarkov (or even Hunt).I would like to play Tarkov with friends, but there’s just way to much for them to learn and it’s way too much of a slog that I wouldn’t bother recommending it to them.Hunt is probably still my favorite, fights feel intense, and I can go months without playing and still hop on and have a good time.
>>727803982I wouldn't make a shooter but a third person Dark and Darker that doesn't suck combined with Dark Souls/Elden Ring, like Mistfall Hunter but with proper controller support and lock-on. It wouldn't be a standard extraction game where you queue up for short games, it would a more continuous experience with one huge map that takes a long time to explore and loot / enemies dynamically spawn as time goes on. Stay as long as you like, die and you lose all your shit but can choose to respawn at a random edge of the map, kill a special creature and gain an item which you can use to extract. Sometimes there are special boss spawns that require many players to defeat and offer huge rewards, either team up or sneakily kill the ones fighting the boss. Yeah it would be fun.
