Which game is considered the best in the series?
I liked the first one the most desu but I'm betting most people have fonder memories of 2

Jak 1 is a platformer while 2 and 3 are more about the action, I think 3 had more platforming than 2 but it didnt have much outside the light temple

The characters look like Hobbits from Lord of the Rings in that they are midget humans who are barefoot or at least have their giant feet semi exposed. And on top of that they have extremely big elf ears. That is such a bizarre design to start a franchise with.Even worse is trying to get edgy with such character designs.

I bought jak 1 because I saw the commercial where he does the electricity jump and for some reason I assumed it was a dragonball knock off with supersaiyan powers. I was extremely salty and disappointed when it was just a collectaton.I still bought and enjoyed jak 2 and jak 3 though.Kind of bizarre how it used to be common to just be scammed by packaging and commercials like that all the time.I actually went back and played the recompiled trilogy on the steam deck. Jak 3 really holds up well. Jak 1 holds up less than I would have expected. Jak 2 doesn't hold up but I don't think anyone expected it to.

For me it's probably 2 >= 3 > 1 but they're all great. At least from my memory of playing them way back then, I haven't played any in over a decade.

>>739362076Jak X is really fun. Daxter was surprisingly good. Lost Frontier is a hard drop in quality, but it had some fun moments. I liked how it brought the other eco colors back, but you couldn't use dark jak (the reason was bullshit). You do get dark daxter, however.
