The way they reworked FRIENDSHIP finishers so the losing party could stop the winner´s fatality by inputting theirs quicker is pretty cool, but boy do you get some weird ones with some of these characters

They were already wailing on Homelander aand he bled from Queen Maeve, so Soldier Boy could have just beaten HL to death, which means Ryan wouldn't have been in danger, which means there's ANOTHER reason why not killing him in the tower made zero sense.And at that point, the blast was going to destroy the tower and kill everyone. But then in the finale, the blast doesn't destroy anything and doesn't physically harm anyone. What the fuck?
