what is it this goron actually wants from me? what does he mean when he asks for 'something "tough" and hard to chew'?At first I thought it might be the moon tear. The moon tear looks like a rock/gem; something a goron would eat. However, after making the trip up and down the observatory to grab the stone and then flying back to the mountain, he doesn't even react to it. After that didn't work I thought, maybe he wants to eat a bomb. it sounds stupid but I justified it by thinking "well, it's kinda related to rocks, it's "tough" and I could envision a goron trying to eat one" plus because I had to use the bomb bag to reach here it all felt like it was clicking together.but that was also wrong. Although, he did actually respond this time by saying "I am quite thankful, but I can't eat something like this"a very mild response, but I really should've expected that outcome.next I went to talking to every goron in the village, both masked and without, while checking every wall with the eye of truth. I get nothing from thissince that doesn't work I think maybe the smith will give me some ore if I talk to him with the goron mask but that doesn't happenI try to hand him one of my deku nuts, but no reaction. I attempt to show my deku stick to him. no reaction. I run back to the swamp to get some magic beans; he doesn't react. and that was it.I'm completely lost; I've run around asking everyone in clock town, poured spring water on anything I could reach, attempted to show him everything from my inventory, withholding the bow and camera those just didn't make sense, and I'm now clueless as to how I get past this guyclock town is doomed.and I know I'm going to still be upset once I inevitably do look up the answer and it's something I've walked past a dozen times

Zoomers have this issue where they cant just accept "Ok, I'll just keep going and see if I'll come across the answer here, I am clearly missing puzzle pieces"no they'll obsess, backtrack, then wiki and then go>woow how was I supposed to know?maybe just don't stress out about every little quest the moment you get it

MM is quite possible without guides but you gotta live in the world and try everything for some stuff. That’s how I did it anyway, when I was a kid I played this game for many hours before beating it and not much was spent in dungeons it was just everything else.
