See that scroll bar? There has to be more in the list than just the 16 levels from Star Fox 64. I doubt there will be NEW new missions with new locations, but I can see remixed versions of the original missions. That way they can reuse assets and just move around the enemy positions. Maybe do some new cutscenes and dialogue at most.
Some ideas:
>Bonus missions where you play from different characters' perspectives. Like Katt on Zoness, Bill on Katina, so on.
>There is a meta-plot about being stuck in a time loop. When Star Fox realizes it, all the missions get remixed as time-broken versions.
>Since Star Wolf is playable in multiplayer, make a reverse campaign where you play as Star Wolf advancing towards Corneria.
Again, all of these would require much less effort due to the reuse of assets already in the game. The latter in particular I can see becoming a DLC, even if its just replaying through the campaign normally as Star Wolf instead of Star Fox.
They keep saying "Based on Star Fox 64" not that it is an outright remake of Star Fox 64. There is something more going on here, I can feel it in my bones.

I know the leakers have said OoT this year, but really, why would they release this game this year when they have a movie coming out next year? Nintendo loves their synergy, it would make more sense to me to do this next year to coincide with the movie release, like how we got a new Star Fox game after the Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Duskbloods is a lock, I'd even argue the only real reason we're getting a Treehouse stream is so they can play this game and explain how the multiplayer works.
Also my take is that Monolith's rumored Zelda game actually is the OoT remake, which has been completely reimagined to be open-world (or at least have very significant gameplay changes). I don't think it'll be full RPG, but it will be reimagined on the scale of FF7R and definitely won't just be a visual upgrade.
