I have a friend who does nothing. He lives with his parents and does nothing but play videogames. He wakes up at 10 or 11pm and sleeps at 12 or 1 pm. It is a sleep schedule that is nothing short of fucked, and does not align with mine very well at all, because I have a job. Because he's a neet with no social interactions apart from me, he will get mad at me if I decide to sleep instead of staying up waiting for him to wake up so we can play vidya. At this very moment I am waiting for him to wake up so we can play something for an hour before I get to sleep. Despite the amount of time he spends playing games, he is quite bad at them, and gets very easily frustrated when things don't go his way, he'll complain that "it's bullshit", "it's unfair", "the devs are stupid", etc. but will never be introspective and consider that maybe what happened was due to a mistake on his part. Playing Elden Ring with him was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. He didn't used to be like this, he used to do programming, he was pretty good at it too, he used to go outside, he was more relaxed, he even had a girlfriend at one point, which was very impressive considering he's always been very introverted. Despite my general frustration I am unable to do anything about it, if I confront him he won't change, he'll just get argumentative and pretend it never happened a day later.
