>>492442445You don't need to really worry about xp efficiency in FF14, leveling jobs is pretty painless and every level cap has some content that designed to be good for xp farming. For ARR, it is Palace of the Dead which unlocks at the end of the level 50 MSQ, but can be used to level lower level jobs just fine. So for now just level whatever you want. If you do decide to level a second job, I strongly recommend that it be a tank or healer role, unless you know you would rather play one of those jobs that doesn't become available until later. Once you get much deeper into the game expansions start having 'role quests' which require you to have a job of each role available, so its not a bad idea to have those ready early because you will want to be comfortable on every role eventually.

There's a big gap in XP gain on the MSQ at level 50 which can be used to catch up.Levelling 1-30 is pretty fast, do hunting logs and class quests until 16 and from there just run a few dungeons and finish out the log. You have a LOT of story to go, so there's plenty of time to level stuff naturally.

But that requires you to be really on top of your crafter/gatherer game, and be in the right place at the right time, and you can't do it at all between patches because the value drops pretty dramatically within a few days as the market gets flooded and demand dies off.

I like Paladin more at higher levels as being imo better and more fun but Warrior is better at lower ones and one of the easiest jobs.

If you did Algaia and highest level dungeon or fates which is faster than roulettes, that's still about 100+ hours to level all 20 classes from 90 to 100 if you did algaia for the first few levels, and fates and/or highest level dungeon for the last few levels on all 20.100 hours for a single expansion is a lot to me. It's more than I spend playing entire games sometimes, but is simply a side grind in this game.You have over 2 years to spend those 100 hours, but 100 hours is still a lot.
