Haley + EmilySome anon has been asking in these threads for a specific Haley and Emily romance mod. One that isn't the harem mods, but actually singles them out and gives events to them. I am NOT going to create it as I don't have the knowledge or will, but I will do some legwork in terms of writing the ideas down incase anyone wants to take up this glorious task. I'm going to do it in the form of telling you my headcanon for how things happened in my personal games. I think Maru unpopularity is a mix between small issues what make people dislike her a little more than the other girls. The mixed parents marriage, the dad in particular how annoying is he, how most people wish the mom was single, how she's "smart" but she's in this town, her awful portraits, specially the "pray" hands portrait, little romance, free the robot into space, etc, etc. Very unlucky how all this mix together make her the least popular one.

How hard is it to catch an octopus at the earliest possible point in the game? Working on a quest mod and wondering if I should have a 20-30 day long quest in Summer Y1 to catch one while still being hard but not blatantly unfair.

Stardew Valley have hundred of mods out there in nexus. Dozen uploaded every day. It's the top 5 most modded games in Nexus. The reason is because is very easy to mod this game, so people make mods of every size and they can upload it easy to nexus. But they can't if is limited to a workshop, because, the game is also played in other platforms like gog what also don't have a workshop. No to mention most modders get an income thanks to nexus, something they couldn't in a workshop. Even if a workshop is made, people would use nexus anyways because is more convenient for them. Another reason could be because it would be incompatible with smapi, the program what control all the mods in the game, made by hus friend Pathoschild. But that is just a speculation.
