I was told I was being too passive here, but from my view my team was simply unable to force the enemy to break up in any way so that I could isolate a target as Dva. I am more used to diving on people who are separated, so I didn't know what to do when the team is clumped like this. Could someone point out some specific moments where I could have dived and why it was a good idea? How I can tell who is a good target, when, and why, in this situation? Any help is appreciated.

I know brig players will swear on everything they love that brig is “perfect right now”. She isn’t. A hero who only works in ONE SINGULAR NICHE and in that niche proceeds to make an entire subsection of heroes completely obsolete so much so that brig players response is “just go poke lol” needs to be addressed. I don’t know what changes need to be made, but make brig more usable in other compositions (even though she’s getting used in rush as we speak with ram juno brig / jq juno brig) and lower her effectiveness against dive so that trying to play a singular dive hero doesn’t immediately become so impossible that you HAVE to swap to a poke hero, because there is physically nothing you can do against a brig backline. This game doesn’t need more reasons to give for people to just lock hitscans / poke heroes. And no this isn’t “omg i need supports to be free kills”. No, I need the backline to be AT ALL contestable. Being more difficult to kill is one thing, being straight up impossible to break through unless you launch a 4 man assault squad into that backline or you just 2 tap them from range, is idiotic. And I get the point brig players. “Brig is only usable when dive is meta, so make dive not meta and she dies off”. Which btw… that’s not how that works. Because if I try to play dive… when dive isn’t meta… guess what hero they’ll still swap to? That’s correct. She will always be a problem. The devs say they want to reduce hard counters. Look at brig.
