But conversely, the one thing FGO has over every Hoyo game and probably will forever is the sheer number of units and the subtle differences between them (niche damage bonuses, rare effects like buff removal resistance etc.). FGO has 400 different units at this point, and for sure there's overlap in their usecases, but even then it's unfathomably different number to what Hoyo games can reach. And that kind of potential for variety via a large roster is extremely important in a game about team synergy. Personally I dropped both Genshin and ZZZ because I just don't think action gameplay synergises well with the daily grind format of these games because action gameplay isn't low involvement enough for me to give a shit about keeping up with dailies and regular content that the game expects you to do. I still enjoy HSR a lot and am looking forward to the FSN collab. FGO is my favourite of these types of games though.
