Do you remember BT3's? Even if you consider it more comprehensive in terms of coverage (it was really bad in that respect, anyway), there was actually no meat to it. Its main gimmick was "you don't have to stick to the script!" but your reward for doing so in 99% of cases is just a victory line like "hey wow I actually won" or "he wasn't that tough" and there's no actual effect on the story. There were no unique animations to the story, it was all conveyed through narrator text, completely normal match intro with context-specific dialogue, and victory pose dialogue.

No matter how disappointed I am in the quantity of SZ's episode mode, it clears BT3's in my eyes.

The Budokai series was created by Dimps (aka Xenoverse), Tenkaichi was created by Spike and were some of the earliest anime arena fighters. Red Patora characters were special unlocks via Red Shenron wishes and cheat codes that made their CPU function on maximum difficulty, beyond what's normally possible in-game. I think even if they don't outright say "this is no longer canon" people will already think that simply because Toriyama is gone. They can pull off the "he left us notes" maybe for like a movie and one more arc but eventually people aren't going to buy it. Toyotaro can write his own stuff or spinoffs but people won't view it in the same way they did when Toriyama was around no matter what they call it. DBH bros I'm playing World Mission and I noticed that gacha tickets have this option to use either one or 10, is using 10 what anons told me meant "single pull"? And if so, should I only use 10 tickets like that for regular tickets, but with rare tickets I should use just one?

What I reference by "single pull" is that you spend 1 ticket at a time, this will increase your loading screens but the dupe protection going for pulls 1 by 1 is really good, especially when starting out. In promotion (where 400 or so cards reside), you can go ahead and multi-pull I heavily suggest you make that the last set you try to complete just because while there's solid cards in it, none are game changingly amazing and it's bloated with dogshit filler.

If you have rare tickets, go for DBH and get the Chronoa from there, she will help you so much, then try to get SSB Gogeta (BR) from Added Cards, these two can be the foundation for dozens of decks of whatever bullshit designs you may have. As for other sets of note, it depends on what you want, SH2 has a Demon Goddess Poutine alongside a Cell (Xeno) that are nice grabs (former helps with CIs while the latter makes sure you never die R1 if wanting to try to a R2 otk deck), UM1 and UM2 have some really strong attackers (MUI Goku, SS4 Gogeta, SSBerserk Goku are all amazing pickups), and then the rest is kind of your leisure on what you want (I went SH1 and SH3 because Zamasu fanboy, HGD10 Zamasu is also pretty solid if you want to play a slow-ish deck and have CI disruption, it does work against the AI).

You can skip transformations.

The further down the line a transformation is, the more blast stocks it requires. If the game works like BT3, then SS3 will cost three blast stocks from base while SS2 will cost two.
It's only worth it to use transformations if they actually upgrade the character, because some transformations, at least in older games, are downgrades, like how Super Perfect Cell is much weaker than Perfect Cell, even though SPC should be stronger.

So, if base form Goku is really weak, you may want to transform as soon as possible, but if SS1 Goku is even weaker, then you should avoid it. It's also worth thinking if you should save blast stocks to use them for something else.

You can also start a battle transformed, doing away with transformations altogether, but if you play on ranked, the game uses DP battle's system, so each character will have their own points, with weakest forms using less points, and to have as many characters as possible you may have to pick characters in their base form, assuming you're picking transforming characters.

Yeah but the ratios aren't that great for most sets, 10 fragments for a regular ticket while its 50 iirc for a rare ticket. It's just better to do 1 ticket for pulls to not get dupes at all and quickly get the cards you want by single pulls.

Well this strategy can work well since SZ gives blast meter faster than previous BTs, but again, it depends on how strong the character starts of. If base Goku can hold his own then waiting until you have enough blast stocks for SS3 (Assuming SS3 is a worthy investment), then sure, but if he's too weak and literally any other form is an upgrade, then you may want to transform into SS1/2 before going SS3, but even that would depend on how long it takes for you to get blast while fighting.

Also about your question about HP healing, if it's like older games then HP doesn't heal, nor do they get blast stocks and I think ki doesn't fill up too. If I'm right then there's no strategy like DBFZ or MvC or KoF where one character can be a battery for the rest of the team.

A bunch of youtubers got to play the game for 30 minutes and very few even checked DP stuff. A few DPs were posted here (Like Metal Cooler costing 7), and it seems 10 is the highest. If there's a card you want from the normal sets (not DBH/Added Cards, those are rare ticket only), then I'd just go with normal tickets to go with them.

Depends on what you want, damage or speed? UM1-UM2 have a nice variety of cards to go by, easy CIs? SH1-2 should have Demon Goddess Towa/Poutine that help you out. Lazy defense? SH2-SEC Cell (Xeno) makes sure you won't die R1 if he's a lone attacker and works well with UM1 Gogeta (GT). If you want, you could just take a look around to see what cards are there that you do want if you're able to beat missions with what you have currently and want something more.

They're extra equippables you can put on cards that add onto them (barring the earrings, if they're a CAA/TAA they'll replace the CAA/TAA on the card but if it's a band or whatever, it just stacks with the card meaning you can make obscene 2 ability cards with them, they're also the material you'll need if you want to touch Custom Cards, something I recommend as a late game thing because of strength and also investment), they aren't consumed when equipped you just need multiples of it if you want multiple cards to have the same accessory, you'll be able to spend zeni to buy them alongside being mission rewards as you progress through the game. Also just remembered there should be some easy extra missions on the hero lab if you want to try and get some of the abilities from the cards they added via patches.

It's weird he keeps claiming that Broly is always the strongest, when you can safely say he's weaker than Buu (Broly was defeated by Gohan/Goten and maybe Goku, while both Goku and Vegeta with SS2 wouldn't be able to handle Buu), Janemba (Can defeat SS3 Goku and needed a fusion to beat him), and Hildegarn.

Even at the end of Bio Broly Goku didn't seem worried about Broly going on a rampage in hell, so it really didn't seem like he thought Broly would be an issue.

Fair enough, but at least whenever Toriyama did it there was some sort of excuse in general (New training method, poisonous water that can make you stronger if you survive, higher gravity training, ritual that makes you stronger, zenkais, years long time skips with training being mentioned), in Uub's case Goku just casually manage to make his SS1 far stronger than him after just a few months with no training being mentioned.

I think it's because Hatchiyack was from a different department, since it started as a game, and even one of the animated ones was more of a visual novel with animations, although once they made an Ova out of it and it had the Broly line, I guess Koyama just wasn't involved in it at all.

It's also worth nothing Cell wasn't fighting at full power there, he only uses it once Gohan goes SS2. There are, they just aren't part of the galactic patrol because the galactic patrol are a backward incompetent local law enforcement org. That's the entire joke. They aren't the Green Lanterns, they are the cops from Dr Slump.

The galactic patrol can, their best elites instantly run away when they meet anyone on the level of a Frieza grunt or an adult saiyan pre-extinction. That's why they are stuck as the 'Galactic' patrol with only the milky way as territory.

I liked the fights mostly, not fond of anime goku and the manga seems more like it is high hit or miss in areas. Like how it turned Morro from cool goat man to just another tori Alien man. Then it ruins bardock lore with his whole whish which felt like it invalidated a whole lot of goku's origins because his wish was for his sons to survive and on one hand it's semi sweet but on another it means Radditz merely lived because a wish was keeping him alive and all of Goku's hard work was partially because he actually did have other forces holding up for him.

I feel that the manga ToP was better though, lot more varied fights and a lot less off screens, lesser characters get a bit more time to shine

Even if it's movie only, his mental image of Broly doesn't translate to what's shown onscreen, since he says he couldn't come up with opponents stronger than Broly yet Janemba exists. And he mentions he fell in a rut where he just brought back Broly three times since he was struggling to come up with stronger opponents yet Bio Broly looks weak with how well Goten and Trunks handle him whenever they aren't distracted from saving people (Broly is still stronger than them individually, but this is a far cry from the Broly from the first movie who could handle four super saiyans and Piccolo, and Second Coming Broly who, still looked more threatening than Bio Broly).

Except that wasn't a thing at all, you're looking at this retrospectively.

Goku was visibly taller than Krillin and Upa, was visibly taller than Arale who was created to be 13, and after the timeskip Yamcha notes how Goku had gotten taller and both he and Krillin were taller than Chaozu who was 14. No one ever said anything about Goku having an unusual growth pattern during the arcs where he was a kid/teen. Toriyama just drew most young teens short.
