Maybe the entire plot of SoC was started by Doctor (who is Prof. Kaymanov) finding a roundabout way to save Strelok by tasking him to kill himself post-CS brainwash (as opposed to tasking him to kill another stalker who would fight back)? The little we see of Doctor in SoC he is clearly concerned about Strelok's well being and worries about his solo journey to the north, and tasking him to kill himself when he doesn't know who he himself is feels like the most "do no harm" approach.If only the game fleshed out the Monolith sleeper agent angle more or even showed a model/PDA entry of a body with the tattoo.
been out of the modding scene for years, is there a mod that reworks gunplay? iirc not even gunslinger could do it, visual upgrades are peak but it still had clunky reloads, slow weapon draws and buffered semi auto shots
