Ignoring that it's imas, it's a very, uh, first chapter-coded chapter for a manga if that makes any sense? The establishing the goal, the initial training arc, the ending twist that makes you wonder how it goes from now to then. The best friend/mentor who brings them into the world.I think it's more important to see how it'll go on weekly because I've been in enough Shonen Jump threads to find the whole thing pretty bland/generic if I just look at it as a manga outside of Idolmaster. That said it's not like Champion is that competitive when it really only has Baki, BokuYba and...Pedal? So no axe would be incoming anytime soon. All I hope is that it hasn't played all of its cards yet and doesn't just go where most idol manga usually go these days.
