The main issue with the Dracthyr storyline is that they're meant to be a military race where quite literally every single one of them was born and bred specifically for battle, yet the moment they awake from stasis, they act as though they're a bunch of high schoolers. They genuinely shouldn't even understand much less comprehend all of the thoughts, emotions, and feelings running through them after being snapped out of their trance-like mind-controlled state. As a matter of fact, there's a lot of interesting stories and character arcs you can tell with that exact same setup. It's the classic "machine learns what being human means" that numerous popular films and pieces of media do, but WoW writers are incapable of capitalizing on it because most of them are complete amateurs that only view the story they're writing as a mouth piece for whatever political agenda they're hyperfixated on. So instead of being capable of writing something that's universally understood and recognized, they instead just want to say "this is an allegory for trannies" and call it a day, because it's quite literally all they're even remotely capable of. There's a lot more that they could have done with them, but now they've moved on, and who knows when they'll remember them in the story again.

I leveled a ton of alts during mopmix because not much was changing going from DF into TWW other than the addition of hero talents. So if I liked a spec I'd likely still enjoy it when TWW released.But with lemix I don't feel like trying out any specs because everything is changing so drastically in Midnight. I want to level and play with the Midnight versions of these classes, not the current ones.
