I started using my purple drop books on the defense mission for Luno coins. Without drop books you need to do like 7 triple rotation missions to craft a single weapon, and these missions aren't short. Not to mention you also need the coins for character skills.

Just run around for the random geniemons. Thare are 2 box (extra loot) geniemons that are 100% chance - one in the sewersg and one in the second part of the story (aka the 2nd MC time). You can use one to ascend the another one (lvl one up to 20, then ascend it to unlock trait with the another one). After that you just need to find passive geniemon with +extra loot that might take some time - and after that, you ascend the geniemon yet again with milk that can you can purchase for 1000 currency in the Theatre (Psyche) mode, After the 2nd ascension and with 2 + drops passive traits, you can have v50% more dropS, ...
