There's one very simple solution to fixing solo q and make it less miserable for everyone without needing all these band aid changes that help no one, one simple item that they could add...walkie talkies.
Think about it, limited charges that allow communication with other players that also bring that item along, the closer you are to the killer's terror radius the more static there is, people would still be able to hear you but not just aswell as they could before.
I think this is a good way to fix the communication issue without making it too much of a problem for both sides or too overpowered to go against and make every match essentialy be up against a SWF. It kinda boggles me how bhvr hasnt thought of this yet as it seems like such a good idea for an item.

Solo Q can never be fixed for the same reason any Q thats not 4SWF cant be fixed - You will get some people who just dont want to win, crybabys who instadc/gonext or will actively grief. No amount of buffs can truly fix it, it is a problem inherent to solo q in any game. It is the price you pay for randoming

The best you can do is this and even then it will have gigantic impacts on the game balance because it means it actually has to balanced under the assumption survivors are a team instead of 4 people reluctantly thrown together.
- Survivors know what perks each survivor has
- Survivors can see each other at all times

Then they would have to clamp down hard on survivor vs survivor toxicity.

When he's chasing you, remove it, he gets an aura on the axe. When he's chasing someone else, 99% the removal so he doesn't get aura but also doesn't get axe.
Due to a current bug, remove it for a split second, stop then restart. He'll not have auraread on you anymore since it drops through the floor when stopping a removal.

If you’re in solo queue, just give up. Solo queue cannot fight back vs killers and if you lose you get into a feedback loop where your mmr drops, which in turn puts you with worse survivors in a more killer sided environment (low mmr) and so on. Playing ""Nice"" as killer is throwing massively and every okay thats remotely correct is playing mean to the survivors.

However its killersided in that there is a minimum amount of skill and knowledge required among the whole team to beat killer. and especially if you are solo q, your team wont have it.
The fundamental problem is the way to win the game (Doing gens) nobody wants to do. Matches you destroy the killer are boring as fuck because its just you afking on gens for maybe 2-3 minutes then getting out

Just had another game where a faggot abandoned two hook 1 states to hide until they timed out so he could get hatch.
It's entirely RNG.
It makes killers feel like they didn't actually win despite their best efforts.
Unless you slug (AND IF YOU SLUG YOURE LE EVILL, didn't you hear!?), you basically end up losing, and the survivors are going to make damn sure to make fun of you for not teleporting across the map to one of the RNG spots hatch spawns at (right under survivor feet usually) and closing it instantly.
And even if (you) get lucky and get to the hatch first, the survivor still has plenty of opportunities to escape via the gates which take no time at all and usually spawn on direct opposites of the map (exceptions exist, sure, but there's like... 2), but usually they just insta DC when they hear it close, and you're yet again left feeling like you didn't actually win.
Fuck I hate the hatch and the devs who keep it in the game and the coward survivors who play for it.

What happens is that they tunnel to win. It inflates their MMR and puts them against survivors who are much more skilled than them. So much so that only way they can keep up is by tunneling every match. If they stopped tunneling eventually their MMR would lower back to their real skill and they would have balanced matches without tunneling.

It's a horror game, you're supposed to be the underdog, you're supposed to be weaker, you're supposed to be scared. 99% of the times survs lose, is because they aren't on gens and are chasing the killer to make his experience worse. False. Kaneki has mobility and quick injure + deepwound while plague requires survivor interactions to control her power. If zero people cleanse then your just an m1 killer, something that kaneki never has to worry about

Kaneki’s biggest strength is that he can catch up to someone that he just recently injured, something that plague can’t do unless she has red vomit and even then it relies on player interaction with the cleansing mechanic and her dealing with the map layout to benefit her arcs.

Kaneki doesnt have to worry about waiting for others to get sick, cleanse, or some timer going down, his mobility lets him enforce his playstyle and is less player dependent then plague hence why hes in the top 3 killers and plague isnt. Being able to down players fast will always be better that survivors staying injured, especially against a killer where survivors can splash water on their face and full heal, requiring said killer to walk all the way to the fountain and then walk all the way finding a survivor

Don't cleanse unless she is camping the hook, in which case you cleanse at the furthest, most inconvenient fountain from the hook and any good gens so that you can unhook the guy at the last second without her downing you first. Only the unhooker needs to cleanse, and everyone can just hide if she gets her power.
If other people are cleansing left and right then you should do so too.

Was here thinking but is it possible to get a ban on reports that were made awhile ago? 6 months or so ago i got a little toxic on endgame chat and just started saying a bunch of shit to a SWF that had butt raped me and bullied me the entire game (told them id find them all irl and molest them).
Sadly one of the people there was a woman and she started probing through my steam profile and adding my friends to tell them that she had just been virtually raped by me and if they had any social media links or personal information to give to her so she could "expose me" (she had like 100 views per tiktok, just a bunch of terrible slop too).
This was very awkward at the time because although no one really took it seriously and just told her to fuck off it was really hard for me to explain how it even happened in the first place considering most of the friends she added to try to convince a doxx don't even play DBD, it was just really shitty entitled behavior over words in a video game and i have privated my profile both in game and on steam 24/7 since then.
But yea all of this happened like half a year ago and my account is still standing, just unsure if bhvr does or does not pick up on old reports because id be pretty angry if i got banned over that dumb bullshit.

Deception is a genuinely good perk but it doesn't stop at the killer checking the locker. Even if they know better, you're still killing your scratch marks for five seconds. If you do it with enough distance on the killer in a place where there are multiple directions you could go they simply have to guess where you have gone.
If you are daring, you can use Quick and Quiet and Head On and get the killer into a position in which he doesn't know if you've gone into the locker or not because he's conditioned to you using the perk to try to waste his time and to kill your scratchmarks.
