As someone that tried reading the story, I can safely say that Owen ntr is way overblow but at the same time it's not 100% wrong, but the ntr is about him acting more like the mc than us, the mc, most of the time the story give him extra focus compared to others combatant, as someone that read so much shit novels and vn I would assume the devs might wanted to have him fall to the darkness or whatever as some epic storytelling because otherwise there's really no reason why he is always getting extra focus all the time, E7 kinda did something similar with Vildred but it worked much better there because Vildred was always Ras side companion, nothing more than that.
