I know that you can do a timed roll to mitigate fall damage, but sometimes I can't tell if I'm mistiming a roll or if I'm just falling too far. I've been trying to fuck around in the training map. More lootable containers = more loot and a better chance to find epic or blueprints. It's more noticeable if you loot an area over and over. For example the offices at Buried City will have more computers, drawers and server racks at night. However you have to compete with bloodthirsty players so the best way to farm at night would be to stay away from high tier loot zones. Locked rooms are always stacked with stuff so it doesn't apply to them. An exception could be with breachable rooms that don't require the key but I haven't done much testing on that.

I have had raids at night where I got out with just green and blues and daytime raids where I was getting out with my backpack almost filled with purples. I bought Arc Raiders as my first extraction game, because I wanted to give the genre a try, and a lot of people have been saying it's arguably the most accessible game in the genre, plus it's been gaining tons of popularity and breaking it's concurrent player records constantly, so I figured this game had to basically be some sort of gaming phenomenon.But after playing for honestly quite a few hours. I don't really get it?I've extracted maybe 40 times total now, and I think I've found literally one one interesting thing the entire time, a weapon blueprint. But it was a blueprint that requires a bunch of high level materials I've yet to even see. So it's basically useless. But then I thought to myself, why would I even waste my time building this weapon when someone is just going to hide around a corner, drop me in 2 seconds, and take it?And this ultimately made me realize, I just don't understand the appeal of this gameplay loop. You spend hours searching containers for rubber and metal, etc, and for what exactly? Since we're talking loadouts, my current "minimal" loadout, doesn't hurt too much to lose, and is good enough for doing quests and killing some basic arcs if you get spotted. I could probably stick an adrenaline shot in there, but I kinda need my chemicals for my ammo. Ammo is surprisingly more annoying than anything else, crafting a full stack costs 12 metal and 8 chemicals which doesn't sound like much, but if you do end up shooting a bunch it starts to ad up. Speciallly since both resources are also used for a bunch of other shit. Eventually I gotta get a double butt pocket augment and do a few credit runs, to augment my stash more.
