You're overthinking it. You're asking about Lind right now but this applies to everyone. Start with the doll itself. Lind is a Vanguard who deals a lot of aoe damage. Okay easy. Look at your filters, see pic related.Lind has:>4 Vanguard slots>1 Sentinel slot>1 Bulwark slotVanguard main stats:>Smite Boost - crit dmg increase>Beheading Blade - crit dmg to boss only increase>Precision Blow - targeted crit dmg increase>Area Smite - AOE crit dmg increaseObviously Lind does not want Precision Blow as she's not a targeted damage dealer, so rule it out. Of the remaining three, you can max out two of them to level 6. I would pick Smite Boost + Area Smite as those are a universal damage upgrade against all targets, but you can choose to replace one of them with Beheading Blade if you really want to or simply don't have the other options yet.>use your filter to select Smite Boost>pick two orange Level 3 Smite Boosts>use your filter to select Area Smite>pick two orange Level 3 Smite BoostsYou now have level 6 Smite Boost and Level 6 Area Boost. Your Vanguard slots are done. If you have multiple options for both of them with different substats, you can choose the more favorable substats to level up but this is far less important than the main stats you filtered for. It's autistic min/maxing. No reason not to do it, but don't sweat over it. Getting two main stats to level 6 is your main focus for this specific doll's Vanguard slots.Then move to her Sentinel Slot. Filter the 4 main stats and see what they do. Choose a single main stat to upgrade to level 3:>ATK boost - raises ATK>Thronebreaker - increase dmg dealt to bosses>Pinpoint Specialiaztion - increase targeted dmg>Area specialization - increase aoe DMGObviously do not give her Pinpoint Specialization. Any of the other 3 are fine. Choose whichever of them has the substat you want. Same logic for the Bulwark slot. Filter, then choose a mainstat to hit level 3.

This causes him to use the Pillage attack which applies that debuff.If you have a doll within 3 tiles, he will use Expulsion instead which doesn't apply that debuff. Resolve this by placing a doll in Peri's location in this image, and making sure that doll is the only doll within 3 tiles of the boss. If you do this, the boss will always target that doll with Expulsion and you will never have to deal with that debuff again. Bring a doll that can cleanse stuns, so Suomi, Springfield, or Centaureissi are good picks here.

Lind's key that disables a unit really is great. Did a third hit out of boredom with borrowed v6 lind with colphne, cheeta, and nemesis to apply def down. Used linds key on nemesis and she still support attacks the def down. 6k run.Although afterwards im wondering if linds def down even stacks with the normal def down from nemesis, and lind is just so busted she basically did 6k by herself?
