Anni 2 had so much more soul and effort put into it. The minigame was controversial but you can tell it had a lot of effort put into it and the idol fight with the goddess remix was great. This minigame just feeds you cutscenes after each mission completed. The overworld is a lot more barren too. The holograms in anni 2, 2.5, and sb were great. Anni 3 was just a fanservice anni, just showing all the characters you've always wanted to see but with no substance.
