I think part of the issue with this game, is that semi randomized loot. Loot being random is good. Loot having specific areas for specific types is also good. Means you can reasonably target farm. But what kinda sucks, is that you quite often know what you can expect in which containers and rooms, meaning that quickly players who know what they're doing start ignoring certain loot containers, and rush towards the ones that have a chance of spawning the purple loot. On one side, that feels rewarding, finding a good chest, or knowing where you can use a key. But on the other hand, you're less of a raider and more "dude who already knows where the specific thing he needs is"-er.

I think the game would benefit, both for a bit more optional co-op and more reasons to fight Arc, if they added something like the "mini-games" you can find in Deep Rock Galactic. Basically timed events that require people to do things for a nice reward.It even has some mechanics they could retool for this function. Make existing in night raids so miserable that people feel compelled to work together or at the very least leave each other alone. Instead of just 20 rats waiting for flares to go up to third party like faggots.

I don't get how people can be so cruel in this game. Like in normal pvp games, I have no problem running people down because that's the game. But in this I'm empathetic of other people's time and effort put into getting good stuff, I know how long some of the grind is and how boring the quests are. I feel awful if I attack someone from behind and almost never do it. I'm too nice and it's gotten me killed because that person I spared doesn't know I allowed them to live and then hear me and come attack me. How do I stop caring? I only have ever attacked people who shoot me first or people who hear me in a loot room and come storming in anyways (even if their intentions weren't bad).
