Farming the correct save data in the Zero System is such a fucking chore. For Mei Lin you essentially NEED to get 2 very specific Epiphanies, namely the Unity of A & D to put Strikes into hand from anywhere, not just drawing them, and Rising Dragon Spire with the () modifier to increase hits based on the number of Passion cards used that turn. And then you also need copies of them on top of everything! Gear is essentially an afterthought anyway. Farming Chaos 10 on Nightmare is pure masochism cause things never go right and once the build is fuck I lose my motivation to play seriously and actually finish the run. I should play on a lower difficulty but then I always cringe at the fact that I'm getting lower rewards for a similar time investment. I hope that after the update drops we get a good clarification on what parameters actually influence save data, so that farming for the right build will be much easier. But also I hope they eventually add an anti-epiphany event or item that's guaranteed on every map and that for a price nullifies an already picked but undesired epiphany. Better yet, change it so that you aren't forced to choose one of the three, leaving the possibility open for later.
