You’re all retards if you don’t think his (Gambit) kit looks good. It’s completely loaded. He unironically looks like he mogs the entire current support roster. From what I can see we have:1) A wide primary fire. He throws three cards at once that heal and do damage. That means he can attack and heal groups of people.2) An AoE attack with his staff which will make him good at fending off divers. He can combine this move with his dash as well and turn it into a black panther/psylocke dash, and he gets two dashes and two stick slams so he can also use it as an exit and escape. This also makes him the most mobile support outside of rocket. I’m praying to god his melee can be cancelled into his abilities and primary fire because then he could have good brawl potential as well if he combines his melee with the stick slam.3) He has 4 cards that each provide your choice of utility. So far I see a burst healing one that ricochetes (get mogged Adam), an anti-heal (get mogged Blade), and a CC cleanse (get mogged strange). The CC cleanse and healing only use up one of his 4 card tokens, so he’s mogging Adam extra hard.4) He has an AoE healing ult. It surrounds him and is feint, but it’s basically Mantis’s ult. I think it also damage boosts simultaneously but I’m not sure. So Mantis mogged as well.He looks busted and that’s a good thing.

Controversial opinion: I don’t care for the classic Wanda skin. I don’t mean this particular version of a classic Wanda skin, I just mean in general. Like different character’s classic skins are not all equal to me. Some are very good and mog the default rivals design, and others just aren’t that good unless you change them considerably. Like the classic Thor skin was great, but I wouldn’t care about a classic Loki skin, and I think the default rivals Loki skin will look better than whatever classic skin they pump out for him. This is how I feel about Wanda too. Her rivals default just looks very good and most her classic skin as a design.

The default appearance for gambit and rouge aren’t bad but they aren’t great either. It’s annoying that they have to just make these minor tweaks to make their version of the characters unique so that they can sell you a better skin later. Just make faithful designs and use some other popular comic skin for your revenue.

Why do we care how characters are currently depicted on their comics? They’ve been depicted a hundred million ways at this point. No, Rogue doesn’t have control of her powers. She’s the mutant who can’t ever control them and has to learn to suffer through it. That’s her niche. That’s her gimmick. If Hulk was suddenly turned into the weakest their is in his comics, and stayed that way for a solid 2 years, would that make it ok for the game to depict him as the weakest their is? No it wouldn’t. His gimmick is being the strongest there is. Simple as. Rogue can’t touch no body. Professor X can’t walk or throw hair. Cyclops can’t open his eyes without shooting lasers. That is the way it has to be.
