I dont particularly love or hate EF but one thing that stands out to me is how lifeless the designs feel. Maybe because OG Arknights has a variety of artists who pretty much have free reign with their style whereas 3D games have to standardize things and keep clipping in mind when designing someone. Its a shame since the sick art/designs is one of AK’s highlights and it feels like thats been lost with the follow-up game.
