I fixed my potion quickslot logic, which took a week. The inventory and hud are now fully synced so any quickslot changes in the inventory update the hud too, once the inventory is closed. This includes swapping potions in different slots, picking up potions of any kind equipped or not, dropping and destroying potions, and whether the slot has one equipped or if I am moving an equipped potion to a new slot. Saving and loading the game also correctly flags the active slot and all equipped items. The way I allow players to do it is a bit unintuiative but will get updated a final time once I implement stacking again (i also have a menu system i could put back in place)Next update it's back to animations, modeling, experience and skill points, and more monsters/npcs for level 1.
