In canon, In real horse racing (and even in the Uma world), there's a reason why you can't just win races with a slow ass pace of 9 End Closers: front runners. When a front runner starts doing its thing, the runners in the back have two options: Either ignoring them, or considering them the pace maker. Ignoring to save stamina sounds smart until you realize they'll get such a massive lead that after a certain point you can no longer catch up even if they're out of gas. This is virtually non-existant in game, but realistically speaking a S tier onige should be able to beat a room of Gold Ships.

You'll probably end up on 800-900 power which isn't high but if you hit spurt off the SSR sweep RNG event you'll beat anyone without it as it's worth 200-300 power. 0LB creek sucks but its your only way of getting swinging maestro
