There's also a lot of welfare characters and weapons you can slowly build as f2p and get their dupes with f2p currency. The frequent reruns and the fact that most limiteds are available on the standard banners also help, not to mention this game showers you with standard pulls, making it easy to get dupes of standard SSRs.It's definitely rough on new players due to how extremely timegated things are. It takes months to unlock the stage where you farm the set for DPS characters, team's HP is tied to the account level, previous events and character stories are locked behind the currency you get from completing the daily quest and so on.
