After playing for a while i have come to the conclusion is that chase is considerable more fun despite being less efficient than any of specific missions. (of course, ideally we have to mix it up between missions)The current goal for end game requires 5 items/currencies: Luno Coins, Money, Letters, Globules and Wedges.Wedges is the only one where you HAVE to do nocturnal voyager and since the drop table isn't RNG, books are heavily recommended to use in this as the others are less tedious.We also HAVE to do mystic maze if we want to get the golden wedges there but its also the most efficient way to get money, however if we don't need to money short term is better to do other things in order to not get burn out of this mode as it is the most active one.As for the other ones, while Chase doesn't give as much as them i could argue chase is much less active, Defense only gives a considerable amount of coins when you are not AFK, afk is almost the same as Chase.Similarly Escort gives a lot more than Chase but its also very active while also not having combat itself, which is ironic since is the resource that is suppose to give you a power up to your wedges.Chase allows you to get almost all resources while also allowing you to feel the progress. otherwise, if we were "optimal" we would spend the time either afk (which is valid if you want to other things) or spending a good chunk of time trying to improve damage without being able to test it (Escort).It's also not as "active" as many people believe, as each phase have many parts where we can "rest" or be semi-afk, like in phase 1 if you see people already doing the bosses and in phase 2 you can be ak for like 1 minute

i think i figured out the spawn problem in theater.i did until act 11 with truffle as main and the field was full of enemies all the time.for act 12 i switched to psyche to have an easy time and suddenly fewer enemies were spawning.but if i flied low, they started spawning again.so, this is a flight check.

Meanwhile I tend to use both Becca and Rhythm while afk. Though for exploration afk I started using Rhythm as the controlled character with Fina, and I6 Nifle to kill any chunkier enemies. I needed a ton of those yellow boss skill mats anyway so I got Rhythm i2 while I was at it. Also Rhythm makes termination commissions a breeze. Just turn on ult and polearm dash to the extraction point.

So after a couple months, the characters in the weekly bosses will all be the ones they have I1+ for already and they'll have most of the weapons. At that point, the weekly bosses will only be for additional intron/smelt instead of unlocking stuff, assuming they don't expand the pool. The skill upgrade mat part is the main clunky part of weekly bosses that'll never get better without changes.
