That took a while, almost 2ish hours to go through the whole siege, the quality of this set piece was miles better than Vikings big battles/Skule's siege, the fact that you keep swapping between your goons was also hella cool, give more reason to gear and upgrade your whole party wish more CRPGs did this, it's weird that the only other games who did similar things to my knowledge are all JRPGs (Trails, Octo, SaGA)The fact that the soundtrack has different phases depending on how's the morale or who's dominating the battle currently is also rad af.My only grip with this game so far is the fact that you need to reroll your weapons ad eternum til you can get the skills you want from them

There are dozens of modifications to abilities too, which allow for more customization. I'm stacking a bunch of +morale bonuses as my modifications and it's been really strong so far. Which is not surprising of course, but there are limitations to it and you can't just go crazy like in RT. Some very intentional balance limitations are sprinkled throughout, such as only affecting one party member per turn.

So I just got done revisiting Kingmaker, clocking in at about 90 hours and gotta say, it ended up being better than I remembered (except House, House can still suck a fat one), and surprisingly easier, too. LK got whacked within one turn for each of his phases where last time I genuinely struggled so hard with him I had to resort to cheesing him with the goat sluts and their deadly earth.I also weirdly enough, outside the very early game, never really felt like I was much weaker than in Wrath, probably because the enemies aren't completely buffed out the whazoo in Kingmaker yet since they don't have to compensate for Mythic shit.Kingdom Management was also much easier than I remembered and I spent the last couple months just sitting on my ass with no projects left.All in all an enjoyable experience.
