Poe1, pick up a gem, equip it. Only have to open your inventory.Poe2, pick up uncut skill gem, or an uncut spirit gem, or a support gem of all different tiers, open your inventory, right click the gem, a new menu pops up, it has tabs, look around for the gem you want to cut, it goes into your inventory, open another gem menu at the same time, drag it to an open slot. Now drag the skill icon, not the gem icon to your hotbar or right click your hotbar and select the skill. Really ggg. There is way too much regression, don't fix what ain't broken.

I've never played wyvern before so I want to try it in ssf without looking much up. My question is - should I be going pure es or es/armour? I've never played es as a melee character before so I'm confused on how it will work. If you stack ES as melee, won't enemies just burn it down since you're in melee range getting hit, and then you won't have any way to get it back? Since you've invested so heavily into ES you have no other defensives so you just go in, get your ES burned then wait for it to recharge? Where as armour you are really tanky and can live with life leach and have infinite sustain. Can anyone fill me in?

To get the infinite demonform stacks you have to heavily invest and it takes a really long time to ramp up to get to a point where it's actually good, where as other ascendancies can just go right in.

Frostflame Nova fuckin sucks.I know the general consensus is that 90% of anything runic related is trash but I am leveling a "runic" focused warrior to actually test things out. Was working really good and was excited to take it all the way until I realized....wait. Are Djinn's scaled the same way as minions? Looked it up, and yup - they are. So just wasted 72 levels leveling up a build that will fall off pretty soon since I can't invest in minions on a spell damage build. I'm a fucking retard.

It's just so shitty. I tested it for half of A1 when I got it and up to Mawdun boss. You just end up waiting around for it to do anything and it doesn't, the ignite actually kills the mob before it can freeze. Also why wait around just to freeze something when you could just kill it? Maybe it has some use in an ignite build later in the game but in this instance it is completely useless. Hopefully I unlock some more runic skills soon.

Trying to put together my first serious build but I'm having problems making some stuff with spirit reservation work and I can't understand the mechanics. Basically I'm trying to use Mana Remnants, it needs 30 spirit. I have 27, I bought an Idol for my helm that I thought was supposed to give spirit cost efficiency and would give me that 3 more spirit I need. But after equipping the idol it didn't change my costs at all and I still can't use the skill. Can someone help me understand what is going on and why it didn't work? I'm following a guide that uses that idol but if it's not making things cost less spirit I don't see why they are using it at all.

I'm tarded and am having trouble understanding how interactions work with certain skill/support gems. For instance, the skill gem Refutation recommended using Efficiency support gem which gives 40% less cost to supported skills. How does that interaction work? Refutation uses all of your ward when cast, having the support gem socketed doesn't change that. It does change the base cost, though, which is 10 ward down to 6, but I still don't really understand the point. It always uses all of your ward, so what does the base cost matter? Why does it even have a base cost of 10 ward?

Runic Warrior update: Repulsion is actually good?With just cascade, area and focused curse it adds a lot of damage for clearing. Here I use it with volcanic fissure/totem but afterwards I tried clearing with just replusion and herald of ash and it was working. No twink weapon either, just a weapon from merchant. I bet you could pair it with armor explosion for a very easy leveling experience.

I want to play some wacky meme shit for my second build but I don't know what. I was thinking either full Ward memes maybe with cast on crit, Runeforged Mjolnir focusing more on the phys attack and using the spell as utility, Smith Fire Spell on Hit with the new Frostflame gem, Scold's Bridle Archmage Infernalist with shittons of recoup, or Gemling with some kind of spell or crossbow attack, maybe Cast on Dodge. What would you guys do?
