Boss fights you try to take more health damage over cover damage because once it is dead it is gone and some mechanics require a full cover. Most damage does less damage to cover than health. Unpopular opinion as an Ark citizen. We should have nikke barracks on the surface or near the surface, similar to the outpost, kind of like real life bases. Nikke can move across the frontlines easier and be deployed at a moments notice for missions. There is no need for Nikke to actually be in the ark, at best they get like short weekend/week long vacations to hang in the ark. Worried about Mindswitches? Easy, we train a hardcore human female infantry division in similar conditions on the surface. Don't expose those humans to civilian life, they exist to eventually die and become mentally strong nikke soldiers. Even in death they serve. Turning spoiled city girls was always going to yield subpar results.
