What is the point of tank destroyers and SPGs? shitty angle of fire that is easy to flank, get 1 shot all the time so front armor doesn't fucking matter, slow and cumbersome to turn when I could be fast and have a 360 degree turret instead and maybe survive. I humored them up until the SU-85 but an actual turret is better 101% of the time.

So back when I played the longest range SAM missile was like 10km and now I see there's SPAAs with missiles with like 50km range. Can you lock and fire on planes right as they take off now?
