Okay is it just me or has normals matchmaking gotten really, REALLY fuckin' bad.Like I know normals wasn't always the most balanced gamemode and all but fuck me at least 80% of players used to be in the same bracket unless you were diamond+ and went into it. Now it feels like it'll lane fresh installs against emerald players all the time.

The elo inflation from January 2026 to May 2026 put a lot of people 1 to 2 tiers above their actual asspull mmr, hence silver+bronze being the new iron, for example2. The Master+ ladder reset afterward sunk a lot of floating turds that are now sinking and rolling new accounts to escape their fate. I've had two Diamonds purposefully shit up silver lobbies this week alone. On either team.Problem from #1 is still intact - very much so. I still can't believe the best Thresh I've had all year is literally Iron I compared to all the other Threshes I have had all year, for example. Iron may as well not exist as a real elo considering how aggressive Riot has been with putting people into Bronze, Silver, etc.
