don't get me wrong, I think there are some excellent possibilities with vr
but why does ANYONE wearing a vr headset look like a huge loserfaggot?

The future will always be disappointing.
We won't be getting more physical, we'll be getting more immovable. People would rather not physically move around, just like how they no longer go outside. Altered VR, or vr mindchips, will let people be able to move around in virtual worlds without doing it physically. Just like how people play fps while sitting still, instead of paintball in-person.
Always remember ABC: Always Be Disappointed.
