Emulatorxisters. . . how can we make the switch gaems playable now ?
>>
Nuke Japan again because of this
>>
>>56517543
kek instead of making secure consoles they use legal means to fight and scare the few autists capable of creating emulators
>>
>>56517649
that's what they get for not reading NVIDIA's bootrom documentation and reusing the 3DS OS.
>>
Games play pretty close to perfect, Switch is at the end of its life meaning the vast majority of the library is emulated. In short: Meh
>>
>>56517543
Does the new Zelda game play well on it?
>>
>>56518704
yeah but because it's made by trannies there's a mandatory patch built into the emulator to make zelda a girl
>>
>>56517543
Good thing I downloaded it before it got nuked
>>

Why would a pirate be asking you to fund their piracy...?
>>
>>56517543
The main problem here is, emulator devs are pussies that cave instantly and completely to any pressure.
They get told to stop, and its all "thanks for everything" blah blah, with no hesitation whatsoever.
These "people" deserve to be slaves.
Meanwhile in shitholes people will get shit done and not give a single fuck.

Because being sued by a company with 50+ lawyers versus your one is a losing battle. Even if you win, the fees would ruin you financially. Nintendo's whole strategy is to just bully targets since it's whole case is flimsy as fuck as a whole.

Extra money means more ability to spend time on non-work endeavors means more fixes and optimization and whatever else needs pushed to the project. Yeah its not necessary to pay them, but its a simple reason why that exists.

I liked Yuzu more than Ryujinx from my brief time using both years back. I still have Yuzu on my laptop but I want to get it on a newer desktop I acquired to try out PLA with mods. Anyone have any clue where archive versions are? Their main installer was a 'download from current build' EXE so useless now and most of the Internet Archive pages were scrubbed.

>>56519143
Apparently the Brazilian dev got bought out into dropping further development based on a short scroll of /v/.

The reason I clown is this is also what got Yuzu shut down. Because you're being paid financially to work on a product that is outright just infringing on an actively supported product. I'm tired of faggots going "big bad evil Nintendo is KILLING preservation" when most Switch emulators exist just as an excuse to not pay for games. Be realistic, there's literally nothing wrong with piracy. Just steal shit. Nobody's going to find you unless you paint a target on your big ass and say
>PAY ME TO HELP YOU STEAL SHIT
>>
>>56519163
That and they got caught updating to accommodate Zelda when it leaked early and that led to exposing the devs pirating games just as much as the community.
>>
>>56519163
>that is outright just infringing on an actively supported product.
Not exactly since a ton of people with legal copies also use emulators too.

> I'm tired of faggots going "big bad evil Nintendo is KILLING preservation"
Which actually is true considering many games can't be accessed, the ports are dogshit and Nintendo has been caught using 3rd party emulators multiple times. In the example of Fire Emblem most games cannot be accessed, fully owned bought or played in their fullest form at all barring Engage and Three Houses.
>>
>>56519189
That's unironically on Intelligent Systems, because they're the ones that work on the franchise and basically own it. It's why they have a copyright in Smash in the first place, Nintendo co-owns it same way they co-own Pokemon just without the retarded TPC nonsense involved

Anyway stop being a faggot most Fire Emblem games aren't localized here which is the real issue they're unavailable and unplayable. You can play the Tellius games on Dolphin right now if you wanted. Same for any of the other games, Nintendo hasn't successfully taken down any emulators outside of Switchshit because Switch tranny programmers are retards that keep opening up Patreons
>>
>>56519163
>Because you're being paid financially to work on a product that is outright just infringing on an actively supported product.
this always was a bullshit take with zero evidence behind it. People who want to buy games buy them. Those that don't want to, don't buy them. The only difference is that with piracy they might still play those games. Never forget that DS, WII and PSP were some of the best selling consoles of all time, and they were all laughably easy to pirate for.
>>
>>56519312
This is why I say game preservation is a retarded argument. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to pay for games. Paying to pirate is the insane part, and no amount of developer donations is going to change what you're doing. Buy games or don't. Don't sell emulators or take money for them and Nintendo can't do shit to you. It's simple logic that seems to be something people born after the year 1999 seem to have no understanding of
>>
>>56519320

Nerds on reddit want to feel like they're part of something so they pretend pirating is how they will finally defeat nintendo
>>
>>56519138
It's a poor attempt a joke. Princess Zelda is the playable character in the new Zelda game.
>>
>>56517543
The only question I give a shit about is how well the current build going to run Z-A. The Switch is over otherwise.
>>
>>56519125
Lawyers are money man
>>
>>56517543
Good, and fuck you to all the retards that paid them. I was too retarded to ever get it running, I'm glad it's gone.
>>
So I've not been around for awhile
is yuzu *actually* dead or was it forked by some chinks or whatever?
>>
>>56519189
>Not exactly since a ton of people with legal copies also use emulators too.
>a ton
It's a laughably tiny minority and we both know it.
People make claims about legal copies and "if you like it, buy it" pirate code, but no one in their right mind pirates and plays a game, then buys a physical copy of the game for a console they don't even own.
Sure I own a legal copy of pokemon red and have emulated it afterwards. I also have emulated rudora no hihou despite never owning a copy. It comes to a matter of simple convenience, not legality. Stingier individuals will even throw convenience in the bin and go to great efforts to play for free.
But those who actually do it full-on legal, making backups of their own roms and keys and BIOSes and whatnot are a tiny, tiny fraction of the entire hacking and emulation scene.
>>
>>56519404
hang yourself newfag
>>
>>56517543
Wait... so they got Yuzu AND Ryujinx? Fuck man, I never even got to use either lol.

Oh well, nothing dies on the internet.
>>
>>56519125
Apparently RyujinX dev got a fat payout to cease development.
>>
>>56519125
citra emulator is still being worked on by different people
I really don't care for any consoles after that
>>
there's something I don't understand
how can they sue you if they don't even know who you are?
Don't these idiots keep that info private?
can they sue you from your username?

>retard makes a patreon to profit off copyrighted material

>There's nothing wrong with not wanting to pay for games.
If Nintendo gave their games away for free on Switch and also sold them on Steam, I’d buy them on Steam. It has nothing to do with not wanting to pay money for video games and everything to do with wanting to grow and maintain a library that will come forward with me for the next 25 years just as it has for the last 25. PC games are forever. An emulated title is forever too. Native ports are preferable to emulation but either option is preferable to being locked in console hell.
