I was taking off from the game from September 2021 to December 2022, so I've been playing catch-up a bit these past couple years. I got a shundo male during Sinnoh Tour, and a really low level female shundo during a recent event, but it's only level 4, so I figured I'd hunt a high level one if possible. If I'm wasting my time doing that, I'd like to know.
I've actually reached a pretty good point where in most events I already have shundos of most of the spawns. Even for this one, I'm only missing Tentacool, Croagunk, and Hishian Qwilfish.

I still don't know if this was an oversight by Niantic but I'm hoping at some point in the future they'll make the GO Safari Balls into just regular Safari Balls so that would make them justified for transfer or whatever.

I also tested with special and field research encounters, and you can actually use Safari Balls on the unintended Pokemon you can capture so like Zarude or Keldeo for example.

They changed how raidmons gain attack energy and how often they use it.
They also changed how dodging moves works. NOW you can just dodge once you see the attack notification pop up and you won't take as much damage. Makes it more in line with how Gigantiamax single target attacks work.

How doable is Gigantimax Toxtricity solo? I got one that spawned behind my house, and best I got's two Excadrills and a Gengar. I tried the non-Gigantimax version out earlier in the day, and it was easy enough with just one Excadrill.

I did a remote raid through my friends list yesterday, but the game crashed and didn’t give me the Palkia encounter, only the raid rewards. I contacted support and told them what happened, did the journal screenshot and everything, and they told me there was no problem and they wouldn’t do anything.
I reiterated my problem was that I didn’t get the encounter and I don’t care about the rewards, take them away, I don’t want them, I want to do another encounter. I told them that if they don’t fix this simple, obvious-what-happened issue, I wouldn’t be spending anymore money on the game. I just started putting money in again after a very long break. They just copy pasted the same response. So, I guess they’re good and don’t need my money. Fuck you hanke.
I got both of these guys, these abilities are fucking cool and that’s pretty great for someone who plays as casually as me.

It's bit the levels that's the problem it's that they ask for the rarest trims (raenine or pharaoh) and the fact that you can't actually send a Furfrou as a trim it will always revert to normal.

Making the ask impossible yet despite this OBVIOUS problem TPC has NEVER fixed it.

Went to Manhattan and was surprised there were so few power spots near Bryant Park. I was able to do 1 G-Max before 6pm hit and we actually cleared it, and it was Shiny. But I tried a second when the time changed and it failed with 60% HP left, it just completely destroyed everything instantly compared to the previous one.

I liked the event though, the Mighty stuff was cool and I liked being able to use Pinaps on legendary raid captures thanks to Safari Balls.

We did a gigantamax with 25 people yesterday. Comp was a shit excadrill with random moves, a Gengar in case of power up punch and a second excadrill that I leveled up to 25. There were a couple of wooloos in my and my friends groups but we managed to do it without losing more than 20 Pokemon as a group. My excadrill didn't even take 50% damage. You niggers are bad at the game and if you want to do the "harder" raids then you should find or make a group you pussies.

First G-max raid I did there were 20+ people but we somehow failed. I was holding my own with gengar for resisting PuP, excadrill for hits and metagross for backup, but eventually too much time apparently passed and the raid boss just started one-shotting everything through shields and everything which is fucking bullshit. Health was in the red at least. No idea what other people had because you can only see 3 other people while in the raid. Probably fucking Wooloo. The second time there was like, 2 or 3 more people and that was somehow enough to win the raid, and it wasn’t close. Hopefully after the next 5 gigantamaxes we can finally start using the gigantamaxes to counter the next gigantamaxes

So what was with the GMax Orbeetle tease?

I ran some numbers and gmax venusaur will take almost 2x longer to defeat gmax lapras compared to dmax excadrill vs gmax tox. Also the weakest of lapras' moves (surf) is comparable to discharge while all others are way above wild charge.
Can't wait for this shitshow.
