It seems like I'm the only one that thinks Black and White are boring, everyone else seems to praise them. Right now I'm forcing myself to play through the game basically holding my nose but it's hard, I keep thinking I'd rather replay SoulSilver or Platinum or try XY. For starters the game doesn't look and feel like pokemon. Who thought America was a good setting? But then you also have... deserts with pyramids? And they have an ancient history with dragons? It feels completely out of place.
The idea of locking climates to real life seasons is also stupid, the vast majority of the players will go through the game in a couple of weeks, meaning they will never get to see three out of the four climates in the game. It also gets depressing real soon constantly seeing brown trees. This is why in modern games with day and night cycles they don't make a night last freaking 10 hours. They should have made it so a cycle lasted a week.
It's like they didn't even playtest their own game.
The pokemon designs are abysmal apart for a couple exceptions.
I really hope XY are better because I'm close to being burned out, been playing nothing but Pokemon for a couple of months now, sunking probably close to 400 hours into several games.

Conversely, I loved the Kitakami dlc, everything about it was perfect. Wish it were bigger. To me, that managed to capture the essence of pokemon again.

You need to register every species from Paldea, Kitakami and Blueberry in the Home dex, but they must come from those games (caught or hatched). So your Cranidos from PLA won't count unless you breed it in SV.
Some species can be evolved by yourself in PLA (like normal Golem and Dusknoir) or BDSP (Milotic). Or you can fish for a raid in SV.

You can track your game-dex-but-in-Home progress in the mobile app if you tap on your name (where the points counter is) on the main screen.
Once you're done, you'll receive that shiny onahole in Home.
